We are pleased to announce the "Meg Faddick Memorial Trophy" that will be awarded annually to a player who best demonstrates perserverance, passion for the game, and gives her best effort all the time. Starting with the 2009-10 season, this trophy will be awarded to the Arvada Hockey Association, Girls division who are also the recepients of the Cim Koch Memorial Scholarship funds.  The photos from the Meg Faddick Memorial Trophy presentation have been posted to: http://arvada.pucksystems2.com/photo_gallery/show/22105

Meg was not only a Cliffhangers player but also sat on the Executive Board. She was instrumental in getting the WACH (Womens Association of Colorado Hockey) bylaws amended to allow for participation in the USA Hockey Nationals should a member team wish.

Despite playing in much pain due to knee surgeries, Meg gave all she had every shift.  Her can do attitude and sense of humor were noteworthy.  Meg left us much too soon.  We hope this annual award will encourage our up and coming female players to strive to do the best they can.
